2. Space Peacocks | Captain Of The Starship
We've been following, and loving, the Space Peacocks for ages. Come 2008, early-ish, it looks like they're finally going to bring forth their first single - with us. Captain Of The Starship is an ace early recording which we're pleased to present here as a taster... and stay tuned, because their unique brand of glam fused punk will shortly be rocking your gold lamé socks off.

3. Remodel | Small Town
Remodel made their 7" debut earlier this year with the awesome double a-side British Racing Green/That Obscure Subject Called Desire. Since then, much time has been spent gestating and looking for a drummer - twice. The new line up is finally well in place; they've recorded Small Town especially for this e.p. and are on the verge of an explosion of activity. Expect great things in 2008.

4. Marianne Nowottny | Jesus In A Jiffy
The e.p.'s religious alibi. Of sorts. Although not at all really. Meet Marianne Nowottny, a wonderfully idiosyncratic avant-pop songstress from New Jersey. She released her first album at age 16, has gone on to support the likes of Antony & The Johnsons, and in early spring of 2008 will finally be getting her first UK/European release proper – on Sad Gnome. It's going to be a cracker and we can barely wait... so don't go away!

5. My Name Is Red | If I Had One Bullet
My Name Is Red - the sexiest beast yet to have graced our catalogue. Their single, Alice Won't You Lay With Me, received in addition to quite a bit of airplay, one of the most amazing reviews we've ever seen, well deserved we think. If I Had One Bullet was recorded as part of the same session, meaning we were spoilt for choice - so it pleases us greatly to be able to include it here.

6. Keith TOTP | Try Your Best
Last, but my no means least, it's Keith TOTP! Member of The Art Goblins, The English Travelling Wilbury's and a host of other outfits, he released his own I Hate Your Band earlier this year on Filthy Little Angels (buy it!). He co-produced The Indelicates' We Hate The Kids 7" and took it's iconic cover photograph, and he's a good friend of ours. Thus we're really really happy to include this lovely track, taken from the unreleased album It'll All Be Better In The Morning (I Promise).
